While newly established, it is built on decades of excellence in medical education, research, and professional training. The Faculty is committed to advancing healthcare through innovation, translational science, and the integration of research with clinical practice, with a strong focus on improving patient outcomes and strengthening healthcare systems.

Precision in
Practice
The FBCS Inaugural Conference will be held from June 23–25, 2026, at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL). The theme for this landmark event is “Precision in Practice: Integrating Diagnostics, Therapeutics, and Clinical Insights for Patient-Centered Care.”
Designed as a high-impact, multi-stakeholder platform, the conference will convene academics, clinicians, diagnostics experts, pharmaceutical leaders, policymakers, investors, and healthcare innovators to deliver practical, solution-driven outcomes that strengthen healthcare delivery in Nigeria and across Africa.
